Although the school testing law was rescinded in 2004, the NJ DEP still recommends that schools still do testing of all occupied school rooms that are in contact with the ground or above unoccupied basements.
The testing must be done using certified Radon measurement persons who must use a certified Radon Measurement Business and a certified Radon laboratory. The individuals performing the field work may be NJ-certified Radon Measurement Technicians, or they may be school district employees who take a one-day training course that is offered at our facilities in Skillman, NJ (near Princeton).
Our schedule is available by calling our offices at 609-466-4300.
The course fee is minimal, and special class arrangements and scheduling are available for multiple attendees from your school district.
